scrabble sentence frames

these are my latest idea—a complete sentence made out of all the scrabble tiles. that’s right: every single scrabble tile! i’d wanted—for years, actually—to take all of the scrabble tiles and put them into a coherent sentence. it took me forever to finally make it work out, but at long last, i have the hang of it (for a post showing how i finally managed to make these, click here). basically, i take a brand new scrabble game (with its pre-determined distribution of letter tiles), and rearrange them to make a coherent (if slightly silly) sentence.

so far i have three different options. i hope to make more in the future. if you would like a custom sentence, or have something specific in mind, please let me know! i’d love to give it a shot!

current options

  • A free singing sparrow in a dotted tie with an azure umbrella jumped quickly over a box to get a nicer daisy for his one love.
  • A penguin in a colorful tuxedo and a zebra wearing vivid stripes slowly biked from their garages to meet to enjoy a quiche.
  • Tranquility is on a good breeze under a foxglove tree at dusk in the summer; joy is a giant bowl of whipped vanilla ice cream.

each frame is $45 plus shipping and handling.
